I got my August Bee Blocks knocked out really early this month. My boyfriend was out of town all week so that freed up some time to get them done early. Here they are.
My favorite one was the BeeJeebers block. The polaroid blocks are so cute! I love all the ones that the group has come up with. The only thing is that I don\’t have many novelty prints so it was hard for me to find enough pictures. I barely squeaked in and I love love love these blocks!!
My Harmony. do. Good. stitches. blocks were very quick to make! 15 minutes per block, I\’ll take that any day.
My Stash Bee block was also pretty quick. The \”stacked\” look was great to use those long scrap strips. The only thing is that I\’m starting to run out of greens and blues because for the last two or three months, multiple bees were using the grey/blue/green color scheme. I love the color scheme but I\’m ready for something different now.
And lastly, for my We Bee Modern Too Bee we did a very cute block with 3 wonky stars in it. This one was Christmas themed so it provided for a break in my blue/green mantra. I think this would look super cute in a rainbow color scheme…
Busy, busy there! I love the look of the polaroid blocks, but I sooo don't have the time to run up a whole quilt lol
