I Want A Baby. JK.

So my friends are all starting to get married and have babies and all that jazz. It has been awhile since I have been around any babies other than the ones that are screaming in the cereal aisle. What I mean by that is that I haven\’t had a reason to like a baby/connect with a baby/want a baby. But…. one of my best friends from college just had twin girls and even though I have not met these little darling children I just want to squeeze and tickle and rock them. But I can\’t because they are in Texas and I am in Minnesota. So the next best thing to that is a quilt right?

I have shown several in progress pics of these quilts but have finished them and have now received baby on quilt pics that are to die for. Then you\’ll see why I want to steal these children.

Here is the first quilt:

And here are the BABIES!!!!!

And it looks like they pass the comfort test 🙂

And that is why I want a baby. But I don\’t really. I just want to give quilts to babies and hold them and squeeze them and then when they scream, cry, or have a dirty diaper, hand them back to the parents and go on about my day. 🙂

Thanks so much Kristin for all the pictures!!!!

  1. Lovely quilts and lovely babies!! Our 3 kids are all grown but I am the oldest of 8 kids and my hubby is the second of 5 so our siblings have small children so I can get my baby fix that way. Also our oldest and his wife are going to pop out our first grandbaby in November so then I'll really be able to get my baby fix! :DIt is so nice to give them back to their parents when they get fussy or if they poop in their diaper. LOL!

  2. Sooo cute! I am at the same stage – my friends are getting married and having babies too (I've been to 3 baby showers already this year, and have a fourth coming up before the end of the year). It's so nice to have babies around for snuggling (then handing back when they get grouchy!). I'm sure both your quilts will be treasured by these little girls as they grow.
