So as a lot of you may know I have moved twice in the last 6 months. Unfortunately for my poor bee mates that means sometimes blocks aren\’t sent to the most current address and get lost in the mail. This was the case for my latest round in the Harmony. do. good. stitches. bee. I had taken the Woven block from Moda Bakeshop and requested a red, orange, and yellow color scheme. Everyone got their blocks made and mailed on time but unfortunately one accidentally mailed them to my old address. She realized this right after she mailed and let em know so that we could keep an eye out for them. Two weeks, nothing. 1 month, nothing. 6 weeks, nothing. At the two month mark I kindly asked if she would remake them and she was so sweet to do so with no issue at all. Once I received those blocks I pieced the top and got onto quilting it.
I used a horizontal loopy design like this:
I apologize for the sub par pics. I fried my camera\’s battery charger when I went to Europe and just haven\’t gotten another one since. I should do that. These iPhone photos aren\’t living up to what I\’d like to show you! Anyways, this is a finish and will be sent off soon to the charity that we support. Next month is already my turn again. I think I know what I am going to do and I am very excited about it. 🙂 Thanks for visiting!
Lovely quilt – such a great block for a bee group too!

I agree, it's a perfect block for a bee. The colours work really well together too. Well done to the group and YAY for a finish. 🙂
